Hi, I’m Sam, and I know the story.

Before I became a hypnotherapist and coach, I was there myself. A few years ago, in a past life, I was suffering from all kinds of anxiety, worry, and stress, and inner turmoil.

There I was, alone, jobless, burned out, with a mortgage on a house I paid too much for, which was now more a building site than a home. I had no direction, no confidence, and no idea how to get out of this mess. It was 2009, and the economy and my sales were taking a nose-dive.

You see, just 6 months earlier I was high flying.

I had a great job travelling the world visiting clients who were happy to send me regular orders, which made me look good, and earned me bonuses.

I was driven by adrenaline and took every opportunity to stay out longer, work and play harder. I didn’t know my limits, and thought I could just keep riding the wave without consequence.

Then suddenly, the announcement came. Sam, your job doesn’t exist any more! You can apply for a new position. Instantly, it hit me. I was already on the edge of a breakdown.

The problem was that I had been a consistent worrier, obsessive in my preparations, hardly sleeping without alcohol, and neglecting my relationships and my finances.

I hadn’t been keeping my house in order, due in part to the relentless business trips. In the previous 12 months alone I had been on the road for 40 weeks. This had actually become my norm, without me even realising that it was entirely unsustainable.

That’s when I decided I had to make a change.

So, first I set off on some 100+ mile walks. That didn’t work, as they were more like marches. I still hadn’t slowed down. Then I spent time trying to fix the house up and exchanged my suite for some overalls and steel toe caps, but this stressed me out completely, because I was way under-qualified.

Amazingly, the answer came by doing less, not more!

A Better Way…

I became interested in positive psychology, and started to worry less about the outcomes of my actions, instead focusing on life quality.

My way was to stop racing. To sit still for long enough to notice what was already right about my life.

For years I’d been in a hurry to do more of the same. I had the same job, the same life, the same results. But the real problem was not the situation. It was all down to how I thought about my life.

Consequentially, I easily made some huge changes and progress. I took more chances for happiness. Some friends offered morale support, and I met my partner Liane. I had new interests, and an entirely new perspective.

This eventually led to a new and rewarding career together with Liane when we founded the ‘Changes Welcome Hypnotherapy & Coaching Practice’.

Initial Consultation & Progression

The initial consultation is the first step. We will get to know each other, and look at your current circumstances and desired outcome.

We’ll make sure your questions are answered, and get you pointed in the right direction to progress either on your own or through the programme.

This programme comprises 12 x weekly sessions, where we use Solution Focused Hypnosis combined with Coaching to bring you to a frame of mind that is calm, positive, creative, optimistic and productive.

 

Tailored Coaching with Hypnosis Sessions

The coaching element is important in helping you determine honestly, what your way forward looks like at each stage.

The hypnosis part is then used both to get you relaxed and positive, and to reinforce the habit patterns and beliefs that serve the purpose of achieving your desired outcomes.

Sessions are underpinned using self-hypnosis recordings, which are used daily between sessions.

Personal Self-Hypnosis Recordings

Most hypnotherapists provide a generic self-hypnosis recording or recordings as part of their service as standard.

However, even though this is effective, each individual’s set of circumstances do vary, and so too will be the required signals used in the recording.

That’s why we like to go one step further by providing you with min. 6x personalised ‘just for you’ recordings to support your progress during and after the programme as part of this package.
