Why did you come to Changes Welcome Hypnotherapy?
So I came, to start with, because I was having daily migraines which began starting due to stress, and it was affecting my college and everything. I ended up having a year out because of it. We tried everything. We tried doctors, supplements, anything you can think of. And then suddenly this came through the post and I was like, “Oh let’s just try it as just a last ditch attempt”. I was pretty skeptical about it. And we came and met Liane and she talked through what would be going on and I was like, “Oh this sounds perfect”. She was talking about how you create a template– like a stress template– so as soon as I’ve been under any pressure, I get a migraine to get me out of it. I’d suddenly get taken away from situations, go to bed, sleep a few hours, and the stress is gone. She worked with me to get me out of that routine, and it was amazing.
What were your First Impression of the Service?
In the short term, after my first session with Liane, I didn’t have any more migraines– which was incredible from having one literally daily to suddenly no more.
What other benefits have you felt from having Hypnotherapy?
I worked with her for about another 6 months on any little thing. So it was really interesting because I learned so much about myself through the therapy. And I sort of I ended up thinking things like how I respond to others, how I react in certain situations, and how I can change that to benefit. sSo really quickly my work was becoming better–because I was still at college, I was just not attending anymore because of the migraine stuff, which is a major one.
There were so many benefits from it. I feel like my whole attitude towards things start to change. I start looking at the bigger picture often than just like, ”Oh my god I’ve got this..:”. But now, “Oh okay, let’s step back and start getting information differently.
What would you say about Liane? What’s she like as a Hypnotherapist?
Oh she’s so amazing. She’s so calming and soothing. I said to mum, “She’s like my sanity. She’s like a friend. I can just go there and vent everything to her. And there’s not ever any judgment or you’re like, “Oh can I say this?”– like anything. And she’ll be like, “Okay right. Well let’s look at this. Come up and try having some good responses”.
It just put you in the perfect mindset to start resolving any problems you’ve got. She’s amazing.
Would you say Changes Welcome Hypnotherapy offers value for money?
It was worth every single penny. I mean I don’t think there should be a price on it. Like the experience I got from it was just– it was way more than the money. It was worth it. It was amazing.
What would your advice be to anyone Thinking of Hypnotherapy with Changes Welcome?
Go for it. It’s the best thing I ever did. It think, you know, it got rid of my migraines– but it taught me so many life lessons. Something I can apply to everything– whether it’s work, whether it’s friendships, relationships– every aspect of my life I use it in. It just gives me a little toolbox and I decide right. I’m like “Oh I’m stressed. Ah I’ll just use this”. And yeah I can get by anything now. It’s just an overall great experience and if anybody has an opportunity to do, it they should.
