Anxiety, depression, and anger are all normal responses to excessive pressure. Anxiety is a common problem faced by many in today’s society, and most people will encounter it at some stage in their lives, usually when facing situations outside of their comfort zone. To avoid dealing with anxiety can lead to relationship and/or career and other social problems.

Most cases of anxiety also involve the sufferer having feelings of inferiority of some kind. These feelings relate to how they react to and think about situations (both internal and external), as well as how they see themselves (self image). Often the triggers are sub-conscious, and we also have tools to deal with these.

Some specific forms of anxiety include phobias (incl. generalised examples such as social phobia), fears, panic attacks, worry (about the future), and examination nerves. Self-confidence and self-esteem are both greatly affected by the level of anxiety a person experiences surrounding a particular event, person, or thing. In fact, the majority of personal issues people suffer from are in some way related to anxiety or anxiety disorder. Of particular note are PTSD, IBS, OCD, IBS, and Addictions.
